A new headshot can make all the difference in your career or business. We take our time to make you feel comfortable & confident in front of the camera for your headshot session.
A professional portrait sets the tone from the start and opens doors for your career. The same is true for your image online - a professional headshot is an investment in yourself and your future.
PRICING
Pricing is your session time plus the files you select. A 10 min session is sufficient for one solid headshot if you’re confident and sure of what you’re looking for. More time allows us to try different lighting, poses, or outfits. If you’re unsure what you need, reach out!
Each Digital file: $50
After the session you select the image(s) you’d like to purchase. Those are then processed, retouched and delivered to you as a JPGs to use anywhere you like. Un-watermarked proofs or RAW files are not delivered.
Group rates are available
Consistent and professional headshots for medium to large corporate businesses. The process is super simple to book, and turn around time is very quick.
FAQs
What does a headshot photography session involve?
Each headshot client’s experience is unique because it’s all about illustrating your personal brand.
When you first contact us, we’ll chat with you to get a sense of what you’re looking for, make sure you’re a fit for a headshot session instead of a personal branding session, and recommend a 10, 30, or 60 minute session. The number of outfits and backgrounds will depend on the session you book.
When you arrive, we’ll review your outfits and the session aesthetic to make sure the photos are what you have in mind.
During the session, Alex gives plenty of natural direction so you always “know what to do with your hands”!
Afterwards, we’ll send you a gallery of watermarked proofs from the session for you to make your final image selection.
Un-watermarked proofs, or RAW files are not delivered.
What does a headshot session cost?
We have options for different session lengths so you can book the amount of time you need to feel confident and use multiple outfits if desired.
After the session, you can select the image(s) you want to go with which are edited and delivered. Details above.
What is the difference between a Headshot Session and a Personal Branding Session?
We have a whole blog post on that question right here! In general, a headshot session is geared towards getting you close up images of you whereas the branding session is more about content generation for your brand. That means more variety and context in your images.
Do you offer hair and make up?
Right next door is John Roberts Salon which is super convenient for hair. We don’t have an on-site make up artist, we’ve found it works best to coordinate with your usual make up artist separately.
How much time should I book?
If you have an abundance of self-confidence and only need one photo - the basic session will may be perfect for you. If you’d like more time to warm up and get comfortable or try a few outfits/backgrounds, more time is always better.
How long have you been photographing headshots?
Alex has been a photographer for over 10 years, which counts when it comes to making people feel comfortable.
Do you “photoshop” my headshot?
We want you to be proud of your headshot without hesitation. Small, temporary blemishes get removed by default. Skin tones are adjusted if necessary. If you have more specific adjustments in mind, please let me know. More extensive retouching is available and priced depending on the nature of the fix.
Where is your studio located?
We’re tucked away in a cozy place called “Evaporator Works” in Hudson, Ohio. Apparently some sort of commercial evaporator was invented here. Now there’s a few shops offering everything from home decor to donuts!
Turnaround Time?
It depends on how long your session is, but proofs are normally available same or next day, final images are usually delivered 1-2 days after your selections. If you are in a rush, let us know!
